Goals from James Alabi and former Spitfire Connor Essam were enough for top of the table Dover to seal a 2-0 win over Eastleigh. Richard Hill's reaction: "It was a frustrating day - we're up against it at the moment. "The only players we've got at the moment are the players that are in that dressing room - and it doesn't help when a couple of decisions go against you.  "At times I thought we played decent football - but we just couldn't open them up and get that opportunity." Having returned to the Spitfires as director of football/caretaker manager last week, he saw the full extent of what he had inherited in yesterday's eye-opening 3-0 defeat at Dover Athletic.

Richard Hill's post-match thoughts following Eastleigh's 3-0 defeat away at Dover: "Very frustrated. We huffed and puffed for long spells of the game. The players are very low on confidence." "The first goal after three minutes – the ball has come in the box and you can see everybody panicking. Why? It’s a game of football, the ball is going to come in the box. You have to deal with it."
