Jordan calls for incredible Holker show
By Adrian Kajumba -
CAPTAIN Tom Jordan says Eastleigh will respect but not fear Barrow when they face the Blue Square Premier side in the FA Cup first round this weekend.
And he has called on his teammates to put on a similar show at Holker Street to the one they did in the last round at Dover to give themselves a chance of progressing in the competition.
Eastleigh won a thrilling game 5-3 against high-flying Blue Square South rivals Dover to reach the first round proper for the first time ever.
And giant defender Jordan said: “I think we have got to respect that they are in a higher division and have home advantage.
“I doubt they will know very much about us which may work in our favour.
“But if we can perform to the same level as at Dover I think we will give ourselves the best chance of getting the result and getting through to round two.
“Dover was a tough test and if we can perform to a similar standard then we don’t have anything to fear.”
