Danny Smith - Press Release
It is with regret that Danny Smith has left Eastleigh FC both in his capacity as a player and Football in the Community and Academy Manager.
Danny had two spells with the club as a player with two seasons at Bognor Regis sandwiched inbetween and is now expected to join Southern Premier League newcomers Gosport Borough.
Popular with many supporters, he gave his all whenever he played and Danny proved to be a commited, hard-working and industrious player.
First team manager Ian Baird said: "Danny has been a tremendous player for Eastleigh always giving 100% but I felt the time was right for us to go our separate ways. We wish him well."
Danny also spent six years working as FIC Manager where he was influential in building the current junior and youth structure with numerous sides at different age groups winning their respective leagues and cups.
We wish Danny every success in his future career and he will always be made welcome at Eastleigh FC.
