All looking Rosey

Eastleigh have welcomed Romone Rose to their squad before the upcoming weekend fixtures against Basingstoke Town and Havant & Waterlooville. Primarily a wide berth midfielder, Romone featured for Eastleigh in the early season friendlies against Wycombe Wanderers, Wantage Town and Aldershot. Having drifted away, manager Richard Hill is delighted to have secured the twenty-four year old ex-Maidenhead United man's signature.

"Romone is a naturally gifted player who has a great work ethic and will bolster the squad significantly."

Rose began his career at Queens Park Rangers where he made four appearances and had spells at AFC Wimbledon, Histon, Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and Torquay United on loan deals. Rose’s debut for Northampton Town was in a 2009 League Cup tie in a 0-2 defeat by Southampton.

Once released from Rangers, Rose joined Muangthong United in Thailand but then returned back to the UK and has had spells at Newport County, Wealdstone, and Hemel Hempstead Town.
