Comings and Goings
Leaving Eastleigh is wide man Ryan O’Hara. Signed at the start of the season after impressing during the pre season games, ex Salisbury City winger O’Hara started the opening league match of the campaign but has since been hampered by a hamstring injury and was not able to regain his place in the side when fit. Therefore after only thirteen appearances for Eastleigh, albeit seven from the substitutes bench, Ryan has had his short-term contract with the club cancelled and has signed for Hemel Hempstead Town. The paperwork should have been submitted in time to allow O’Hara to play for his new side in the FA Trophy match at home to Croydon Athletic on Saturday.
Arriving from Port Vale on a month’s loan is full back Michael Green. 22-year-old Green was with Eastleigh for a brief spell at the start of the 2009/10 season making five appearances in pre-season scoring one goal before moving on for a fee to AFC Totton. The former Christchurch and New Milton Town player joined Port Vale in the last close season but despite starting in the side has been struggling with an injury.
The pair of Aldershot loanees that have been with the club has seen Henrik Breimyr return to the npower League Two club for no other reason than he has been selected to play for the Norway Under 19 National side, which means his availability would have been very limited. Graeme Montgomery though has had his loan extended at the Silverlake Stadium for another month.
