A solitary Sam Wilson penalty on twenty-seven minutes saw Eastleigh through this F A Challenge Youth Cup Second Qualifying Round tie. An even contest was settled with Wilson converting the penalty after he was himself brought down inside the area. 

Eastleigh now face A F C Totton at home, who defeated Ringwood Town 6-1, in the Third Qualifying Round at The Silverlake Stadium on Monday 17th October.

The draw has also been made for the First Round Proper of the competition with the winners of the Eastleigh v A F C Totton tie scheduled to have a home game against Exeter City with the game to be played before November 5th.

Eastleigh side against Salisbury: Gareth Schultze, Joe Chamberlain, Jordan Chalk, Liam Hibberd, Luke Davies, Will Aimson (Ryan Cripps 90), Ryan Lewis, Ben Wilson, Sam Wilson, Matt Gray, Jamie Blackburn (Callum Holloway)  Unused subs Martin Buckthorpe, Lewis Fear and Josh Helm.
