Dramatic Saints return for Dodd?

A remarkable story was today released by the Daily Echo claiming that Eastleigh manager Jason Dodd, is due for talks with Southampton boss George Burley over a possible move to St. Mary's in a coaching capacity.

Saints legend Dodd, guided Eastleigh to Conference South survival having taken to the helm in December and turning around the fortunes of the club.

With Glyn Snodin departing St. Mary's just this week, it would appear that Jason, who made 399 appearances for the club, is highly sought after by the Championship club.

A stunning Josh Hare strike sealed a 2-1 win for the Spitfires on New Year's Day to defeat rivals Havant. Reda Johnson had headed Eastleigh in front. The visitors went on to equalise nine minutes from time before Hare's late winner settled the derby.
