Sam Togwell joins Eastleigh from Barnet

Eastleigh Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Sam Togwell, 32, from Barnet FC.

Sam joins on an 18-month contract for an undisclosed fee and is available for selection straight away.

Togwell has vast experience in the football league, playing in excess of 200 matches. 

Having started his playing career at Crystal Palace, he has gone on to play for Barnsley, Scunthorpe and most recently Barnet.

Having put pen to paper on an 18-month contract Sam was delighted: “I am pleased to be joining a club with plenty of ambition. 

"Also I am looking forward to working for a manager whom I enjoy working for and have had plenty of good times with. 

"Me and the lads know we will need a strong second half to the season to achieve what we all want.”

Eastleigh confirm another signing from Barnet

Eastleigh have confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Sam Togwell from Barnet. The 32 year-old joins on an 18-month contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £20,000, and is available for Matin Allen's first league game in charge at Southport tomorrow. Having put pen to paper on an 18-month contract, Sam said.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town.
