Despite Salisbury being two men down in the second half, the Spitfires couldn't find a way through a nine man City side in what was a heated derby match. Former Spitfire Robbie Matthews forced a corner in the 80th minute and from it Tim Bond bundled home a Luke Prince cross to dismiss Eastleigh to a woeful defeat. Hot shot Matt Tubbs saw red for two bookable offences and ex-Saint Tommy Widdrington also had an early shower after a late challenge.
