Spitfires welcome new sponsors aboard

EASTLEIGH have welcomed three new sponsors on board over the last week.

Britain may still be limping out of recession, but the Blue Square Bet South club have bucked the trend by securing the backing of Airlynx Express, Independent Garage Services and Portmore Insurance and Risk Management.

"It's getting a bit easier that it has been, but not a lot. It takes a lot of hard work," admitted Eastleigh's director of football Dave Malone.

"Last year and the year before we had a net loss in sponsorship money, but the best thing about this year is that we've lost one sponsor from last season and gained six and we will work really hard to keep them.

"The continued support of the sponsors we've got is equally as important as bringing new ones in."

Airlynx Express, based at Eastleigh's Silverlake Stadium home, are one of the area's leading providers of airport transportation, group outings, courier transport and executive mini bus hire.

As new shirt sponsors, their corporate logo will adorn Eastleigh's kit for the coming season.

Boyatt Wood-based Independent Garage Services specialise in servicing Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles but will repair and service any make at competitive prices.

Portmore are a well-established commercial insurance specialist and current sponsors of Hampshire Cricket.

"Eastleigh FC are particularly proud to add these three companies to their already significant list of sponsors," said Malone. "We would like to record our sincere appreciation to them all for their continued support."
