Cavaghn Miley signs for Eastleigh
Eastleigh have signed midfielder Cavaghn Miley from Jersey. Miley made his debut for the Spitfires in a 2-1 friendly win at AFC Stoneham.
He was brought to the attention of Richard Hill by former Aston Villa manager Brian Little through his work and his contacts in Jersey.
Hill said: “Cav was recommended to me from a good friend and someone’s judgement I trust.
"It’s a similar case to when we signed Harvey Read last week. There was a list of clubs looking at him.
"Cav has been on trial at a league club and they came close to agreeing something.”
Eastleigh came from a goal behind at Stoneham to win 2-1.
Craig McAllister equalised after an assist from Ben Strevens and Paul Reid scored the winner heading home from a Ross Stearn cross.
