Team News and Player Update

Rob Marshall and Jamie Brown could return to action as soon as tomorrow afternoon, having spent time on the sidelines through injury.

Targetman, Brown has served his five match suspension and is available for selection. The former Magpie had also been struggling with a groin injury recently but both Jamie and centre back Marshall have given Jason Dodd a selection headache ahead of tomorrows visit to Sutton United.

Steve West meanwhile, will serve the last of his three match ban tomorrow having been sent off in the 1-0 defeat at home to Cambridge in December.

On a sad note the whole-hearted midfielder Martin Thomas will miss the match having had surgery on his wounded hand sustained on Boxing Day against Basingstoke. The utility man has had five stitches after a bone broke through the skin, which has now caused an infection. On behalf of everyone at Eastleigh we wish you all the best 'Tommo' and hope you will be fit and well again soon.

In other news, Jack Smith has gone back to Andover on a month's loan to link up with Spitfires teammate Adam Roberts who also recently returned to the Lion's Den temporarily.

Stuart Douglas has two weeks left on his months loan spell with Lymington and New Milton having already played three games for the Sourthern 1 outfit. Having been out long term with a knee injury, the former Luton Town striker was sent out to try and get some games in a bid to get back to full fitness.
