Taggart back to haunt Farnborough
By Wendy Gee -
EXCELLENT Eastleigh ended Farnborough’s nine-match unbeaten run in the Blue Square Bet South, coming back from behind for a richly deserved 2-1 victory at the Rushmoor Stadium.
The Spitfires fell one down to a sixth-minute Bradley Bubb goal, but hit back through a Tom Jordan header and a clinical finish by ex-Farnborough man Tony Taggart which followed a flowing, eight-man passing move.
It made it three away wins on the bounce in league and cup for Ian Baird’s side, who are coming into form at the start of the new year.
It was the perfect warm-up for Monday's big south coast derby against Havant & Waterlooville at the Silverlake Stadium (3pm).
