Eastleigh v Farnborough - Game OFF!
Tonight's game against Farnborough has been called off just five minutes before kick off.
The match referee made a late call deeming the pitch to be waterlogged and "boggy" in certain areas.
The decision to postpone the fixture was completely out of the club's control.
Eastleigh's Director of Football Dave Malone posted the following message to explain what happened:
"The Official position is clear and concise.
"No pitch inspection was necessary during the day as the pitch was in far better condition than in either of our past two games.
"The Officials arrived soon after 6pm, and gave no indication that they were unhappy with the pitch.
"There was no significant rain between 6pm and 7.40pm.
"Our opponents did not consider the pitch fit.
"The Referee called the game off at 7.40pm.
"Incredible!"
