Rose and Tafazolli depart

Jordan Rose
Eastleigh fans have seen the last of former Stockport County defender/midfielder Jordan Rose (pictured) and ex-Saints centre back Ryan Tafazolli.

Both players agreed to train and play for the club for nothing while they looked for openings in the professional game. But Baird has lost patience with the pair of them.

He said: "Jordan Rose has drifted away. He kept telling me league clubs were interested in taking him on trial, but nothing ever happened. It's the same with Ryan Tafazolli.

"We can't wait around for them, so that's that as far as I'm concerned."

Jordan Rose made just one appearance on the opening day of the season against Basingstoke Town as a substitute, whilst Ryan Tafazolli failed to be involved in any first team league fixture.
