Shaun Wilkinson departs

http://www.eastleigh-fc.co.uk/UserFiles/images/playerphotos/1213season/small/Shaun-Wilkinson.jpgFollowing a meeting between First Team Manager, Richard Hill and Shaun Wilkinson on Saturday it has now been agreed that Shaun will no longer be employed as Assistant Manager and he has left the club with immediate effect.

Richard Hill commented ''Shaun was a big help when I first arrived but I think it's important that any manager should have his own staff working with him.''

The club would like to thank Shaun for all his efforts and wish him well in his future career. Stewart Donald added: ''Shaun has been a big help, especially over the last few weeks. He is enthusiastic and well liked and I am sure he will be back in football soon. I know Richard will be keen to find a suitable replacement and any announcement will follow in due course.''

A stunning Josh Hare strike sealed a 2-1 win for the Spitfires on New Year's Day to defeat rivals Havant. Reda Johnson had headed Eastleigh in front.
