Fawley AFC 3-5 Eastleigh Under 18's

Goals:

0-1 - Sayem Kabir cross from the right, turned in by Zach Glasspool with neat finish turning the ball past the keeper inside the first ten minutes of the game.

0-2 - Another great cross from former Bashley player Kabir, Brett Williams climbed well in the middle and directed a great header into the top corner to double the youthful Eastleigh sides lead.

1-2 - Fawley pegged Eastleigh back immediately. Centre back Craig Cansdale was caught out by the pace of the Fawley winger who got to the byline before playing the ball square to tee up a teammate. The ball was struck well from 8 yards but depsite the best efforts of the Eastleigh keeper he could not keep it out.

HALF TIME: Fawley 1-2 Eastleigh Under 18's

2-2 - Fawley came out in the second half firing on all cylinders. Within minutes they had found the equaliser due to a soft clearance allowing the Fawley player to pick his spot and despatch the ball into the bottom right hand corner.

3-2 - Eastleigh incredibly threw away a two goal cushion as the very physical home side took the lead through a header.

3-3 - Brett Williams soon gave Eastleigh renewed hope as he linked up with Zach Glasspool to grab his second of the game and Eastleigh's third.

3-4 - The goals just didn't stop coming! Williams completed a fine hattrick midway through the half as he got on the end of yet another quality delivery from Kabir. Kabir floated the free kick in from the right hand side and Williams was onto it like a flash with an unbelievable header from a tight angle to deservedly put Eastleigh back in front.

3-5 - The fourth goal of the half and final goal of the game came from the man of the moment Brett Williams who did an awful lot to help the team win with four fantastic goals. Brett sprinted through on goal losing his marker with ease before lashing the ball past the keeper with his left foot with a great finish.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead.
