Non-league Eastleigh were denied an FA Cup upset in front of a national television audience as League One side Swindon fought back to earn a replay. Swindon, 35 places above their hosts, were close to a first-half goal when home keeper Ryan Clarke clawed out Luke Norris' close-range volley.

EASTLEIGH manager Ronnie Moore is confident his side can win their FA Cup replay at Swindon Town a week on Tuesday. After Mikael Mandron's 64th-minute header was cancelled out by Michael Doughty's penalty, the Spitfires had to be content with a draw at home to the struggling League One outfit.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town.
