HE has won Eastleigh 's latest Player of the Month award, but goalkeeper Ryan Clarke is glad to have put October behind him. The former Oxford United goalkeeper made his Eastleigh debut on October 1, but the month ended with the sudden passing of his dad and a broken nose in last week's 4-0 defeat at Barrow.

Watson, Ronnie Moore's astute assistant, is a former Swindon midfielder whose his fondest memories of the competition come from a tie for Colchester against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2006.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town.
