Reaction | Sam Togwell | Guiseley

Sam Togwell shares his thoughts after Eastleigh's 1-1 draw away at Guiseley:

"I think you can’t deny that the performance was ten times better than our last outing. We got on the ball more, we ran more, we were more dynamic. It was a pleasure to play in.

"It’s a shame that with 20 seconds to go we couldn’t see the game out.

"The new players have done well. They’ve had a hard two weeks training with us, it’s been a hard graft. It’s been tough but they’ve come in and they’ve worked their socks off and they haven’t complained.

"You can see today they tried their best. Some of them haven’t played for a little bit so the longer they are here with us and playing the way the gaffer plays, the better it’s going to be.

"We’re going to prepare well [for the next game] and do what we did today – go out and play football and try to dominate possession, get on the ball. We should have scored a few more goals we had good chances. I’m sure the fans can’t deny that it was better to watch than the Woking game.

"We’ve just got to go again and luckily we’ve got a game again on Tuesday to react and put it right and make sure we get the three points."
