Where are they now? - Part 1
Now that the season has started to settle down a little, here is a brief round up of where ex-Eastleigh players are turning up at the present time.
Lee Roache – Lee had two spells at Eastleigh first in December 2008 where he made three substitute appearances whilst on loan from Cambridge City. Lee returned to Cambridge City before joining Braintree Town and returning to Eastleigh again in February 2010 where he made one start then two further appearances from the substitutes bench before joining Hemel Hempstead Town. Lee then had a spell with Thurrock before joining Ryman League side Harlow Town, where he started this season but was released on 1st September.
Bertie Brayley – was another striker who had two brief spells at The Silverlake. Originally joining from Margate in September 2006 making five appearances without scoring before joining Braintree Town. Bertie then returned to Eastleigh in February 2009 from Chelmsford City making one start and a further three substitute appearances before returning to Chelmsford City. Bertie has now joined Ryman League side Heybridge Swifts from Harlow Town.
Toby Little – Played a trial match for Eastleigh at AFC Totton in August 2010 having been released by Hayes & Yeading, but then joined Woking before moving on to Uxbridge. Toby has already appeared at the Silverlake this season in a left back berth for Basingstoke Town. Toby appeared in the pre-season squads at Farnborough along with Staforde Palmer.
Kevin James – Joined Eastleigh in March 2008 from Crawley Town. Made a total of four appearances including one from the substitutes bench all in league fixtures before departing for Chelmsford City. Kevin is now in the Ryman League with Dulwich Hamlet.
Peter Adeniyi – Joining Kevin James at Dulwich Hamlet is Peter Adeniyi who was released in the summer after signing originally in December 2007 from Bromley. Peter made 157 appearances in an Eastleigh shirt scoring 16 goals before he departed to rejoin one of his former clubs.
Warren McBean – Warren linked up with Eastleigh in February 2008 on loan from Sutton United. Making only three starts though another six appearances from the bench, Warren never completed a full ninety minutes in a Spitfires shirt though he bagged four goals before his return to Sutton United. Warren then made a switch to Bromley and has now signed for Havant & Waterlooville.
Sam House – 17-year-old Sam House who made his first team debut in last seasons Hampshire Senior Cup tie with Havant and Waterlooville, that being his only senior appearance; has joined A F C Totton.
Chris Mason – Chris made his first team debut in November 2007 and has since seen loan spells at Bashley. In four seasons Chris had made 30 appearances for the first team scoring three goals. Mason has now linked up with Wessex League side Winchester City.
Alex Haddow – Joined Eastleigh in 2005 from Slough Town after impressing in a cup tie against The Spitfires has since seen service with Salisbury City, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Bognor Regis Town. Alex has now linked up with Wessex League Division One side Fleet Spurs.
Liam George – Ex-Luton Town striker Liam George joined Eastleigh in December 2006 from Chesham United. Liam made eleven appearances for the Spitfires though only three starts before moving on to Hyde United. Liam has recently left Hitchin Town to join one of his former clubs Barton Rovers in the Ryman League.
Liam Green – Had a couple of spells at Eastleigh, his last one starting in July 2006 where he made thirty-five appearances. Liam has left Wimborne Town to join Southern League Premier Division side Bashley.
Ashley Carew - Joined Eastleigh originally on loan from Barnet in January 2009 before the deal became permanent then made twenty-one appearances scoring three goals before leaving to join Ebbsfleet United. Carew has now joined Conference Premier Division side Cambridge United.
Ashley Nicholls – Midfielder who arrived at Eastleigh in March 2010 and made seven appearances before moving back to his previous club Maidenhead United, has now linked up with Dorchester Town.
Steve Arnold – Goalkeeper signed in November 2009 from Brentford made five appearances before signing for Wycombe Wanderers. Has joined Hayes & Yeading United on a season's long loan.
