Fielding a side with only Jamie Blackburn in the side from the teams opening encounter, a 0-4 away defeat at Bemerton Heath Harlequins, David Hazelgrove's side earned their first point of the season.
Having gone ahead on twenty-seven minutes with an excellent strike from Callum Casson, Wimborne scored an equaliser on the hour through ex-Eastleigh striker Nathan Lynch, now plying his trade in Wimborne.
Both sides had chances to take full points but a lack of composure in front of goal for both sides saw no addition to the scoreline.
Next up for the side is a trip on Saturday (10th) to Sholing Reserves.

Manager Darren Waterman was delighted with his sides continuing impressive start to the campaign earning their third victory from four fixtures.
Goals from Liam Robinson and Ben Chambers saw the side take full points at Carshalton.
The game saw Eastleigh give a trial to former Carshalton goalkeeper Craig Ross, the twenty-one-year-old having previously played for Southampton, Arsenal, Reading, Crystal Palace, Colchester, Chertsey Town and Ashford Town (Middx).
The next fixture for the side is Saturday (10th) when they entertain Hemel Hempstead Town Reserves.
